New Beginners Class - next enrolments now being taken for January's classes.... see timetable for dates.

By popular demand, a new beginners class in the style of Satyananda yoga will commence on Wednesday 12th October 2011.

Whether you are a complete beginner, or are new to Satyananda Yoga and would like a fresh perspective, this class could be for you. Expect a meditative approach with the emphasis on self development and self discovery. You will learn gentle asana (postures), breathing techniques and deep relaxation as well as meditation. These classes with be delivered methodically and in depth to give you a firm foundation in yoga practices and whilst the pace will be slow and steady your progress will be strong and solid.

These classes are a wonderful opportunity to begin a new yoga journey or shift the emphasis of your practice to a meditative and inward looking  discovery.

Thank you to everyone that attended this years Retreat, it was such a wonderful weekend, the sun shined brightly so we were able to treat ourselves to yoga on the lawn and Charney Manor was such a beautiful venue, so peaceful. It was a very special event to teach and the atmosphere and energy was just wonderful, we hope you enjoyed it as much as us...... feedback has been so positive that we are already booking next year so watch this space!

Charney Manor is tucked away at the edge of the pretty village of Charney Bassett, deep in the Oxfordshire countryside. Surrounded by beautiful places to walk and nestled in lovely tranquil gardens, there are many places to rest and revitalise. Charney Manor itself has many areas to relax, including a library and a reading room. Here you will find both modern facilities and old world charm. The atmsophere is tranquil and ideally suited to this weekend of yoga, meditation, pranayama and relaxation.

Led  by qualified and experienced yoga teachers, Rosita Hills and Tracy Gaillie, our aim is to provide an environment that is peaceful, serene and inclusive. Where you can find time for quiet introspection and shared yoga practices.

The 'MOVING INTO TRANQUILITY' - yoga retreat 2010, in this amazing venue nestled in the Cotswolds was such a wonderful experience this year. So many laughs and such peace and tranquility, I feel sure will we return there soon. Thank you to Sally and her family for sharing their space with us.

Classes for The Management of Chronic Back care. .......

Current Course Fully Booked. No new courses for 2011.

Yoga Therapist, Tracy Gaillie, will be taking a course of classes for the management of chronic back pain. Small groups (max 5 people) each course will require an inital assessment on an individual basis followed by 6 group sessions where practical classes and tuition will take place. A home programme will also be provided. £115 for full course incl. assessments
