Your Teacher

tracyYoga teacher Tracy Gaillie originally studied with the Yoga For Health Foundation, an organisation specialising in the therapeutic application of yoga for all areas of society. Here she gained her teacher training certificate and later furthered her studies to include remedial yoga, specialising in yoga therapy for illness and injury recovery. Later Tracy worked and studied under several different yoga traditions, including more dynamic styles, but continued to further her knowledge and interest in holistic approaches.

Tracy has worked with many charities, including Scope and Carers Bucks, specialising in yoga for disability, illness and stress management. This experience allows her to adapt all of her yoga sessions, including general and one to one classes to the individual, enabling everyone, no matter what their ability to participate in yoga.

Her love for yoga is as strong today as ever and her hope is to make yoga available to everyone, so they can also experience its restorative powers.

Tracy is a fully qualified BWY yoga teacher and yoga therapist holding the following qualifications:

  • British Wheel of Yoga Teaching Diploma
  • Satyananda Yoga Teaching Diploma
  • YFHF Teacher Training Diploma
  • YFHF Remedial Yoga Advanced Diploma
  • Biomedical Trust Foundation Dip Yoga Therapy
  • CNHC Registered Yoga Therapist
  • Satyanander Yoga Nidra Cert.
  • Trained in the ‘Dr Dongaonkar sequence’ for the management of Chronic Low Back Pain.
  • SkillsActive Yoga Teacher European Accreditation.

Today Tracy’s teaching is influenced by the many experiences and training courses she has attended and believes strongly in adaptation of practices to the individual. She is very honoured to have experienced the influence of many eminent and inspiring teachers, from her original teacher Michelle Morrow to the many teachers at the Yoga For Health Foundation, The Bio Medical Trust and Satyananda Yoga, especially Swami Satyaprakash and of course the openess and wisdom of Swami Satyasangananda. She would like to express her gratitude to all of these teachers, as well as the many others that she has worked with over the years. With Love and light, Om.
